A Kentucky woman sought to buy a large amount of oxycodone with her two children in tow last week, police said.
Barbara Michelle Groce, 23, of Somerset, Ky., was charged July 29 with trafficking oxycodone and child neglect. She posted $27,500 bail at the Indian River County Jail the next day.
An informant told police Groce wanted to purchase 620 pills for $6,200, according to her affidavit. An undercover officer set up a meeting for July 29 at 8 p.m. in the 1700 block of U.S. 1.
Groce showed up with the cash as well as her 5-year-old daughter and 1-year-old son, police said. She was taken into custody after the sale, police said.
Opinion: At 23 she has a 5 year old child, evidently she is not so good at decision making to begin with and that partially explains why such an idiotic move was done. Hey, Barb, thanks for being an IDIOT!
