I think the point he’s trying to make is that welfare, with no strings attached, serves to prolong and expand the problem rather than fix it. Conservatives believe that it makes more sense to help someone out of their situation say through education and job training rather than giving them enough food to make it to the end of the week. The two are obviously tied, but alone, they both fail. Liberals like to fly this kind of crap of the flag pole so they can demonize conservatives as people who hate the poor and are incapable of compassion. Their devotion to ideology and propaganda, and and their inability to solve problems, that has put the Democrats in the pickle they find themselves in these days.

I have to say that I didn’t get the same impression from this movie. While the special effects were indeed superb, the storyline and framework of the movie were weak, straight off the cookie cutter stuff. The big bad corporation is beating up on the poor little guy, and they send their henchmen in to take them out. You could never guess what happens next… while living amongst the enemy he’s trying to destroy, he has a big change of heart. Where have I seen that before? Samurai? And where have I seen a movie where you are hooked up to a machine that allows you to perform superhuman feats in an imaginary world? Matrix?

This movie is nothing but a regular Hollywood storyline ripoff with a lot of pretty wrapping paper on it. This movie will have about as much cultural impact as Independence Day.

I will say that Kimbo was a great street fighter, but I am sure Ryu could kick his ass now. Let the old man give MMA one more shot and then he should go back to what he is good at….being a bodyguard for porn stars (aka Reality Kings). It is sad to watch a talented football player go to waste a street fighting legend. Ray Lewis is what Kimbo should have been. I know he “reps” the 305, but I thought that the 305 could take one on the chin. What’s going to happen if/when he is knocked out on the show? Is it time then? I agree that Dana White is becoming more of a showman, but he is going to bank off of this train wreck. By the way, UFC for 360 is wicked good, and I am pretty sure he couldn’t beat me in that. Maybe Slice has a shot on the “America’s Next Top Model” or “I am a celebrity, Get Me Out of Here”

Hey, just because you have played a few rounds of UFC 2009 on Xbox 360 doesn’t mean you shit about the octagon. Kimbo Sice is a natural fighter from the tough streets of the 305 (your 561 ass wouldn’t know anything about that)unlike the rest of the guys in the UFC. And as for Dana White, he is no more genius than Vince Mcmahon… A PT Barnum come lately who is trying to pass off this form of entertainment as a legitimate sport. These guys are all entertainers, nothing more. Let Kimbo get his shot at stardom just like everybody else.

After a couple of weeks, Dunkin Donuts corporate office sent me a letter of apology for the conduct of this franchise. As a way of compensation, they sent me a gift card as a way of making amends. Since then, the location mentioned has been more efficient more often and the errors that were made have decreased.

I watched a little bit of the combine, I’m going to throw in some people you’ve never heard of before:

Darious Passmore WR Marshall- Made it look easy at the combine

Kenny Britt WR Rutgers- Size matched talent and hes not really projected high.

And my boy Joe looks like he will be a great CB! Solid combine numbers
